    Great Trilogy
What a great story! After having read the first, I could not wait to purchase the remaining 2 volumes in this trilogy. The cast of charactures were deep and true (I’m not sure how to describe them). You could just picture each one with not only their physical description but also their personalities – what made them “them”. The landscape of Red Mountain (where the whole story takes place) is also one that you could envision with great detail. It was just a delightful read! Thank you Boo – I’ll be ordering up some other books by you – looking forward to it.

    An Engaging Read
This book was read after Red Mountain and is a sequel to it. My husband and I read both books and thoroughly enjoyed them. Taking place in Washington State made it more interesting to us. I loved the characters and the dimension the author provided. The backdrop of the close-knit community and the wine education added much to the story. The author did a great job of intermingling the characters, and I enjoyed how they evolved and how their relationships evolved. There is great message about families and about how many can become family even if not related.

    What a great read
Reading the second book of the Red Mountain Chronicles warmed my old heart. The power of love over adversity and the ability to continue living is so strong in this novel. I am so happy I continued reading the second and can hardly wait to start the third. But I have to return to this earth. Thank you Boo Walker for this amazing offering.

    Another entertaining sensory filled story
I had hoped red mountain was a really place to visit the description was so appealing. Helps to read in order but Boo brings you up to date well if you hadn’t read the previous book. Most enjoyable take you somewhere else read.

    Fight for the mountain
Lots of good interaction, and Boo has talent. Some padding for word count, but every writer does this. If it were me editing this, I would say, work on the dialogue. Look, it is hard to do dialogue well. All in all, though, a good read.

    Enjoyable story and characters
It was like visiting some old friends when I was reading this novel. Nothing too deep took place and everything ended with a happy ever after vibe.

The struggle to find your path
Nestled on the slopes of Red Mountain, a compelling narrative unfolds as diverse characters navigate the intricate journey of self-discovery, each driven by an unwavering desire to reshape their destiny and uncover the transformative power that lies hidden within the mountain’s enigmatic landscape.

    Fun, beautifully-written books
This is the second book in the Red Mountain series (third if you count the prequel), and I have thoroughly enjoyed all three books! You get to know the quirky characters and soon you find yourself wanting to know more and more about them. The setting is in beautiful southeastern Washington State on Red Mountain, which is home to beautiful vineyards where some of the best wine in the state is made. Although the books describe in great detail the winemaking business, family, friendships and life’s ups and downs are really at the core. I love the author’s writing style. One minute you may be on the brink of tears, and the next minute you find yourself laughing out loud! I highly recommend all three books and am looking forward to the next book in the series, Red Mountain Burning. I just wish I didn’t have to wait until February of 2020 for it to come out! I’m ready NOW!!!

I just loved these three books about a group of people living on Red Mountain. The characters were so well described that you thought you knew them personally and I liked all of them – even the grumpy and strange ones. The setting, the wine, the wine making: everything is vivid and enticing and you just wish you could be part of this group and join them in their endeavors. The story is compelling and contains some action and suspense but mostly it is about being human, about companionship, about nature, about hope and never giving up.

There is so much love, witty, and generous an absolute delight to read, it keeps you interested so you can’t put it down, can’t wait to read the next sequel.

Oh my goodness! This was such a great second instalment on the lives of those who live on Red Mountain. It picks up around 7 months after the end of the last book.I don’t want to do too many spoilers , so I will keep it brief. We get to catch up with all the characters from book one but are introduced to new ones. Adriana and her 6 year old son Zack , Remi, and the vile Mr Bellflour.Margot is still my favourite character as she is so relatable. Being middle-aged myself and single, I totally get her actions and feelings at times. She makes me laugh out loud but also sad, too. Otis is just fantastic, and his grumpiness but love for his mountain keeps you entertained.Brooks really had a pity party through most of the book, but I totally understood at times why he was so hurt, but I’m not saying why 🤐There is a strong story line of domestic abuse , but it was handled so sensitively and I could completely sympathise with the character who has been through it and the terror of having to flee and change your whole life. It was written with a fair bit of research I would have thought. If you want a tidy ending , you’re not gonna get one, but I can’t wait to dive into book 3 to see what happens in the end.

  12. Lillypet

    Seicht, und damit reine Zeitverschwendung.

  13. Margit Flierl

Similar comment like on the 1st book: these stories are simply too unreal. Big Drama, simplistic solutions.
