Great for corporate girlies and guys
Great set!! I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves how the set is divided up by subject so he can reach for the most relevant one to what heâs wanting to improve on at work. Great for that person in your life climbing that corporate ladder!

Fantastic series, I still pull them out when I’m struggling with a topic!
An excellent series with numerous examples and ideas to help strengthen personal and professional relationships and understand other points of view. Touches on the subjects of office politics and managing conflict but not thorough on that subject, you will need additional resources. Does not cover subjects like identifying and navigating narcissism, gaslighting, circular reasoning, fear based motivation, manipulation etc, but does touch on “toxic handler” (see mindful listening) and provides suggestions about balancing your own needs when supporting others. An overall positive and useful addition to any library, and great asset for personal development!

Too Academic and Repetitive; Not Very Practical
The set is well produced and covers a wide range of topics, but it wasnât what I expected. Many chapters feel like standalone HBR pieces with similar intros and abstract models. I wanted practical tools and real-world scripts; this felt too academic and not cohesive as a learning journey. If you enjoy HBR-style frameworks, you may like it. otherwise, consider a single, more hands-on EI book. This is mostly repackaged HBR articles: dense, repetitive, and more academic than practical. Good if you like corporate frameworks, but not great for learning emotional intelligence in a clear, step-by-step way.

factory seconds
this set was produced in the States, exported to India then back to the States. The book are all different heights and the Harvard logo is off-center. My guess is the seller is reselling sets that didnât meet quality standards / factory seconds and passing them as new.

Um conjunto espectacular da HBR! ImperdÃvel

Excellent compilation. You will find everything you need to get a basic functional knowledge of ei related topics. At the âdiscountedâ price of 197CAD$, i donât see any other offer out there that is so well defined.I wonât spend too much time describing the content due to the extensive number of sub-topics. If youâre considering to buy this box set, it already means that youâre interested/curious about this subject anyways. And that, in itself justifies buying this box.The reason why I took one star off is due to the booklet cover material. It is raw paper that looks very good but is an incredible fingerprint magnet. Any stain that lands on the book will remain on it. And the white paper is going to magnify it. As you can see on the pictures, the other books from HBR are made of a fingerprint-proof paper. I donât know why was this choice made for a box-set that youâre certainly going to use for many years to follow. So if you buy it, wash your hand thoroughly, put some white cotton gloves, open the books, and enjoy a good reading. Thatâs what Iâm doing right now (except for the gloves)…

All the books are good for reading.

Mir gefällt die kurartierte Vorauswahl. Das Lesen lässt sich aufgrund der übersichtlichen Länge der Artikel/Kapitel gut in vollgepackte Tage integrieren.
