Perfect Retelling of the Classic with great illustrations
I teach a fractured fairy tales unit, and for that I need the original for comparison. This is a lovely retelling of the classic with clear, entertaining illustrations. The library binding is comfortable to hold. It looks like an elementary picture book, so my ESL third graders find it appealing instead of brushing it off as a “baby” book.

This book may come damaged!
I have ordered 3 of these books at different times in the last few months & out of the 3 books 2 books were damaged. It was not easy to return 1 of the damaged books in fact I still have it. I gave up trying to return it. However my grandkids love this book & it is well written. I would recommend this book but just note you may run into the same problem if it comes damaged. The story I give this a 5 star rating. On the seller a 1 star rating.

Simple and Clear illutrations
I work with children with disabilities and it is difficult for some to follow what is going on in the story if the images are not clear or have distractions. The illustrations in this book are wonderful. With no distracting colors/items that make students focus on the story and essential images to support the text. Love it and definitely would recommend to all readers.
