A Beautiful, Practical, and Heartfelt Guide to Tuscany
This guide captures Tuscany the way you feel it—golden hills, Renaissance history, unforgettable food, and the joy of traveling smart. The authors blend stunning storytelling with genuinely useful advice: how to get around, where to go, what to pack, and the little things you only learn from experience (like Italy’s driving rules and avoiding tourist traps). It reads like exploring Tuscany with knowledgeable friends—warm, funny, and honest. Whether it’s your first trip or your fifth, this book gives you confidence, clarity, and inspiration. A must-have companion for anyone dreaming of Tuscany.

Very useful and convenient guide, but light on visuals
“Florence & Tuscany – Your Travel Guide 2026” is a really helpful resource for planning a trip through this beautiful region. It’s packed with practical information — from detailed itineraries and train tips to skip-the-line advice and local food and wine recommendations. I especially appreciated the clear breakdown of towns and hidden gems across Tuscany; it’s easy to find what you need when planning day trips or moving between cities.Because I read the Kindle version, there weren’t as many pictures or maps as I expected, which makes it feel a bit less immersive. Still, it’s very convenient to have as an ebook when you’re on the go — perfect for quickly checking train routes, restaurant ideas, or must-see spots while traveling. Overall, a solid and useful travel companion for anyone exploring Florence and Tuscany.

Fantastic Tuscany Guide with Everything You Need to Know.
I’m a seasoned traveler, and I found this guide to be amazing and spot on. The book has everything you need to know about Tuscany: how to get there, where to eat, how to book and use the trains, etc. I love the maps, suggested routes within your time frame, and the QR codes. A fun thing they included was the Wish I Would have Known part, where they learned what to do different or what not to do. I would love for this couple to keep publishing more books on travel in Europe, as they know what their information. Well written.

As a region experienced traveller this is a really useful guide
I have spent a great deal of time in this part of the world, and this is a very useful book.It is a part of Italy that has been much written about, but this book offers the most practical and knowledgeable advice. Sometimes the information is delivered in interactive QR code access, really useful when actually travelling. The author uses a technique that adds a section to the end of a chapter titled “Things I wish I knew before I had gone”. Very apt.Not only does the book share what is obviously an intimate knowledge of the region, but it also offers snippets of cultural advice to help you have a better experience. Like ensuring you properly greet people in a restaurant, or not ordering milk-based coffees in the PM or evening. This book will save you a tremendous amount of time exploring Florence. Not a big city, but really complicated and one that you can backtrack extensively if you don’t plan it properly.Take the author’s advice seriously on preparing for museum and cultural visits long before you leave home. And when you get there, use the public transportation trip advice, which is key in many European cities, especially Florence and even Tuscany in general

    Pure gold
This travel guide is pure gold. It feels like having local friends showing you around. The itineraries, train tips, and food recommendations are spot on. I love the hidden gems section and the QR maps made my trip effortless. A must have for any Italy traveler.

  7. Belle

    Practical Guide
This travel guide offers a wealth of information for anyone planning a trip to Florence and Tuscany. The itineraries are well thought out, with clear transportation tips and skip-the-line strategies that make navigating busy sites much easier. I especially appreciated the focus on local food and wine, which adds depth to the cultural experience. The maps and town highlights are helpful, and the inclusion of hidden gems makes the book stand out from more generic guides. While the sheer amount of detail can feel a bit overwhelming at times, the content is thorough and reliable.

NEVER AGAIN FEEL ALONE IN ITALY!
This is a guide that is so necessary to fully enjoy your trip to Italy. It will even have you speaking conversational Italian before you know it! If you’re retired, you may even want to forgo the trip and just use the guide instead. It has all the information you would need. We especially liked the walking audio tours. From the time you start it until the time you finish, it will be useful to you no matter which route you take!

  9. Milo

Florence & Tuscany – Your Travel Guide 2026 is a beautifully crafted insider’s guide that captures the heart and rhythm of Italy’s most beloved region. Jack and Mia Carter share firsthand experiences, smart itineraries, and real local insights that go far beyond typical tourist advice. With clear transportation tips, skip-the-line strategies, and authentic food and wine recommendations, it’s designed to make travel effortless and deeply memorable. The bonus maps and audio walking tours add an interactive touch, making it feel like you’re exploring with friends who know every hidden gem. Warm, practical, and inspiring—a must-have for anyone planning a true Tuscan adventure.

  10. SuzieQue

Florence & Tuscany: Your Travel Guide 2026 is a thorough and practical guide. Written from the authors’ personal travel experiences, it covers everything from routes, train tips, restaurants, and accommodations. In addition it provides information on Florence’s history to Tuscany’s vineyards and everything in between. It includes best cities in Italy to fly into, walking itineraries, colourful downloadable maps, checklists, money tips, artisan workshops, and QR codes for tours. The mini crash course in Italian and audio walking tours are great bonuses. A well-organized, resourceful book I’d highly recommend for anyone visiting these beautiful regions.

  11. F.A.

My favorite region in Italy to explore, from the big cathedral in Florence to every little town you come across in the countryside. This book does a fair job at guiding you through the most important places and experiences to have while traveling in Tuscany. You can tell they are not from the region, but experienced travelers.

  12. Magic Twister

This is hands-down one of the best travel guides I’ve read. It doesn’t just list places — it brings Florence and Tuscany to life. Jack and Mia’s passion for Italy shines through every page, from the walking routes along the Arno to the vineyard terraces in Chianti. The tone feels personal and friendly, like two locals showing you their favorite hidden spots over a glass of wine. The book is packed with practical advice — train routes, skip-the-line tips, and food recommendations that are actually authentic (the “wine windows” section was a gem!). The maps and itineraries make planning so much easier, and the QR-linked audio tours are a thoughtful bonus. If there’s one thing to note, it’s that the Kindle version can feel a little dense in places — but that’s only because there’s so much good info. Overall, it’s a beautifully written, heartfelt guide that blends storytelling with real travel know-how. Perfect for first-timers and repeat travelers alike.
