It has been a long while since I last read a novel written by the wonderful A.L. Jackson. It has to be said, A.L. Jackson has a unique way of making a reader feel like they are sitting on the sidelines watching everything happen. Everything from the detailed plot to the emotions had me enamored! From Here To Eternity was the type of read I couldnât put down! It was the pivotally endless just one more chapter promises throughout the whole night and day! My heart was invested from the start!!From Here To Eternity is the first book in the Moonlit Ridge Series by A.L. Jackson. This is River Tayte and Charleigh Loweâs story! And let it be known if you loved A.L. Jacksonâs Redemption Hill Series, you are most definitely going to love this series!!!! Due to Charleigh and Riverâs story being wrapped around suspense filled moments after a suspense filled moment, I decided to take out the âIn My Own Wordsâ portion of this review.Now, letâs dive into my spoiler-free thoughts on this novel.I went into this novel knowing without a doubt I would like the premise and the outcome, what I didnât expect was how much I would actually fall in romance book love with the characters, the premise and the outcome!! Holy crow! When I say I was consumed by this novel, I mean every word. I am blown away by the fact that I didnât see any of what occurred within this novel coming!! That is why I decided to give this novel a full 5 star rating! I love it when a novel isnât easy to predict!! It makes it that much more interesting!The characters were wonderful. Charleigh is a mystery from the beginning until the very end. I loved the suspenseful vibes that surrounded her throughout this novel. My heart, on repeat, broke for her and the life she was forced to live. There were times I wanted to reach into this novel and shield her from the storms that were set to erupt. Itâs been a long time since I last cried for a character. A.L. Jackson had me crying so many tears for Charleigh. Some were tears of happiness, but most were of sorrow. What I loved most about Charleigh was her hidden strength. The more she let herself fall for River, the more that inner strength shined bright. She was ready to live again. This woman is a warrior!And then we have River and his adorable son Nolan. I think my heart fell for River right away. This man is fiercly protective over those he holds nearest to his heart. There is also an aire of danger that continues to circle this man. But that danger is more in the form of a protector. Enemies should definitely beware his wrath. My heart loved this man, especially when it came to Charleigh! And thatâs all Iâm going to say here.There is so much I want to talk about when it comes to this novel, but I just canât due to spoilers. I loved the alpha-hero/heroine on the run trope, the single dad vibes, and the touch her and die premise. Charleigh and River are two kindred souls that were written in the stars. I canât wait to read more from this series in the near future! I have a feeling itâs going to be filled with unforgettable romances such as this one! I loved every moment!! Iâll try to update my review in a month or two when Iâm less likely to spoil new readers. Until then, just know, From Here To Eternity by A.L. Jackson may just be my new favorite novel written by this author!! Itâs going to be hard to top this one!!

I was particularly fond of the characters, the central storyline, and the supporting characters. The narrative is filled with unexpected twists, turns, and surprises. The story primarily revolves around Charleigh and River.Charleigh is endeavoring to progress beyond her past experiences while also striving to find joy in life once more. Despite her constant caution, she feels drawn to River and his family. From Here to Eternity was an exceptional read and I loved every single second of it! Right from the start I felt consumed by the intensity playing out and was pulled in as I got to know Charleigh and River. I loved the storytelling, the development, and all the incredible details. I felt captivated the entire time!I felt so much for these characters. I hurt for Charleigh and what she’d gone through, the pain she was in, and where she was at in life. I loved her perseverance to keep moving forward and make a life for herself. River was fantastic! He was an extreme mix of harshness and goodness all rolled into one, I loved his hard edges and intensity. When Charleigh and River first met, there was an instant spark and attraction that I could feel. The tension and chemistry between them was palpable. I loved the build to learning about them and what theyâd endured. I had a million questions and was filled with anticipation to know all their secrets. I loved the emotion as their feelings grew and the sizzling heat between them. There were so many great elements in play that made it exciting to read.I loved the found family with Riverâs crew and his sister Raven and how deeply they care for one another and have each other’s backs. I loved learning what the men stood for and the good they did. Even though Raven has had a hard life, she was a breath of fresh air and I loved how she and Charleigh became friends. I also adored sweet Nolan, Riverâs son. This kid had my heart melting and feeling full all at once. He was adorable and I loved how he was intertwined into the story.How this was woven together was incredibly well done. The writing style flowed perfectly from one scene to the next, interspersed with flashbacks that added more depth. There were so many important details really building the story, it felt like a tangled web as these two broken and scarred souls opened up, started to heal, and found their way to the other side. There is drama along the way, but the build to everything being revealed was outstanding. This was my first time reading this author and I’m kicking myself for not reading her sooner. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

His past deeds do more that skirt the lawâ¦if he was caught there would be no returning to his brothers, his sister and his little boy Nolan. River however, knows when someone needs his kind of protectionâ¦and the minute he laid eyes on CharLeigh Lowe he saw right through her, to her heart, to her trauma and knew she needed him and the protection he can give her.Charleigh Lowe has a habit of running, all she wants is to be safe, to leave this lonely life behind her and to learn how to trust again.A.L. Jackson has given her readers a puzzle that needs to be put together and she does that so well. What you donât know is that the final pieces will make you realize you never saw any of what happened coming!Author Jackson keeps you on the edge of your seat as she takes readers on a ride that opens your hearts to her characters, characters you want to protect, characters that you fall in love with.Moonlit Ridge gives hope and homes to her characters and it is so easy to fall in love with her stories. From Here to Eternity is definitely a five star read for me. I canât wait until Under the Endless Moon comes out.

I absolutely devoured this book!Charleigh is new to Moonlit Ridge. And one of the first things she does upon moving there is a get a tattoo. Which is where she meets the dark and dangerous River. These two were instantly drawn to each other.River can immediately tell sheâs skittish and recognises something in her that calls to him. Like to two halves of a soul meeting. While nothing happens between them during that first visit, fate keeps putting them together.Charleigh and River are both hiding some big secrets and lots of trauma. And while theyâre determined not to cross lines they canât deny their attraction to each other. But what happens when their pasts come back to ruin their happiness?God did I love these two so much! The chemistry between them was through the roof! The will they, wonât they angst had me on the edge of my seat! And when they got together?! Explosive!ð¥µð¥ The spicy scenes were so hot and River has a special piercing ð that is so hott ð« ð¥µI loved River! Heâs this dark, dangerous, mysterious guy who is only close to a small group of people but meeting Charleigh changed everything for him. Made him question whether he deserved her, whether to bring her into his dangerous world but there was no denying it, she was his.River is also a single dad, his son Nolan was the cutest! I just want to wrap him up and hug him! Nolan was instantly taken with Charleigh, their moments were so cute.I did guess the plot twist, which is a first for me, but Iâd did not take away from that moment. I loved the not knowing, the suspense and watching River & Charleigh fall for each other!I cannot recommend this book enough! This series starter is full of morally ambiguous, but ultimately very good guys and in this case, a girl in need of saving. Charleigh is running from a desperate, deeply abusive relationship and fate brings these two together. They have a bucket full of secrets and lots of twists and turns to negotiate before their HEA.
